Solutions to common issues in Hydrogene Pro — blends, feed charts, cycles, and measurements.
Troubleshooting
Blends
The Automatic Creation result doesn’t match my reference fertilizer closely enough.
This usually means the available salts don’t cover all the required nutrients. Try:
- Going back to the Choose Available step and adding salts that contain the underrepresented nutrients.
- Reducing the number of nutrients selected in the Calculation Parameters box — fewer targets generally produce better optimization results.
- Clicking Retry to re-run the calculation with the same salt selection.
My calculated gram amounts have too many decimal places to weigh accurately.
Use the Fine Tuning tab to round values to a level of precision your scale can handle. Most field scales are accurate to 0.1 g or 1 g. Small rounding adjustments do not materially affect plant nutrition.
A fertilizer I need is not in the Fertilizer Library.
Add it as a custom entry. Go to the Fertilizer Library, click + Create, and fill in the General Information and Nutrient Composition forms using your product’s data sheet. See Adding a Custom Fertilizer for detailed steps.
Feed Charts
My feed chart shows unexpected spikes or drops in the Review graphs.
Review the dosages in the Schedule step. Spikes in the ppm or EC graph usually indicate a single week with a much higher dose than surrounding weeks. Check for data entry errors in the dosage or EC/pH fields.
I can’t find a feed chart I just saved.
Custom feed charts are filtered out by default if Built-in is the only active filter. Click the filter panel and ensure Custom is selected (or uncheck Built-in) to see your saved charts.
A built-in feed chart doesn’t include a product available in my region.
Built-in feed charts reference built-in fertilizer profiles. If a product in your region isn’t in the library, add it as a custom fertilizer and build a custom feed chart using it as a part.
Cultivation Cycles
My cultivation day numbers don’t match the real-world grow day.
This happens when there is a gap between saving the cycle and clicking Start Cycle. The system counts from the moment Start Cycle is clicked. If there was a delay, the cycle day will be off by that many days. For future cycles, click Start Cycle the moment the grow begins.
I cannot edit the Day Observed field in a Health issue.
This field is intentionally read-only. It is automatically set to the cultivation day on which the issue record was created. If you need to clarify the actual date of first observation, use the Notes field when concluding the issue.
A measurement or event I created doesn’t appear in the calendar.
Check that:
- The cultivation day entered falls within the current cycle duration.
- The correct cycle is selected — if you have multiple cycles, confirm you are viewing the right one.
- You clicked Save after filling in the form (the calendar updates only after saving).
I entered the wrong time for a measurement (selected minutes before hours).
Edit the measurement card by clicking the edit icon, clear the time field, and re-enter it — selecting the hour first, then the minutes.
