Build a Feed Chart

Goal

Create a custom, week-by-week feeding schedule that can be linked to a cultivation cycle.

Requirements

• At least one fertilizer or blend saved in your library (to use as a feed chart part).
• A clear picture of the growth stages you want to cover (e.g., Seedling, Vegetative, Bloom, Flush) and how many weeks each stage lasts.
• Target EC and pH ranges for each growth stage.

Steps

1. Open Feed Charts

Navigate to the Feed Charts section from the left sidebar.

2. Start Creation

Click Create.

3. Choose the Mode

Select the delivery method for nutrients:

• Concentrate Solution — Pre-dissolved fertilizers dosed from a stock solution.
• Direct Mixing — Solid salts weighed and added directly to the reservoir.

Click Next.

4. Add Fertilizer Parts

In step 2 (Input), select the fertilizers or blends that will form the parts of your schedule:

1. Pick products from the Fertilizer Library or Blends Library.
2. Assign each product as a labeled part (Part A, Part B, etc.).
3. Add as many parts as your program requires.

Click Next.

5. Build the Schedule

In step 3 (Schedule):

1. Enter each growth stage (e.g., “Seedling”, “Vegetative”, “Bloom”, “Flush”).
2. For each week within a stage, enter the dosage for each part.
3. Set the EC target range and pH target range for each week.
4. Use + Week to add more weeks to any stage.

6. Review the Charts

In step 4 (Review), check the three graphs:

• Nutrient levels (ppm) — Confirm nutrient ramp-up and taper look correct.
• EC progression — Verify EC targets are realistic and don’t spike unexpectedly.
• pH progression — Confirm pH targets are within appropriate ranges for your medium.

Go back to the Schedule step to make any corrections before saving.

7. Save

1. Click Save.
2. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., “Coco Bloom — 12 weeks — Concentrate”).
3. Add a description with any relevant context.

Expected Result

The feed chart is saved as Custom in the Feed Charts library and is immediately available to link to a new Cultivation Cycle.

Tips

• Build your flush week into the schedule from the start — it is easy to forget when adding it later.
• If you are adapting an existing commercial feed chart, open it for reference while building your custom version.
• Naming conventions matter: include the mode, crop type, and approximate duration in the chart name so it is easy to identify months later.
